A Girl's Safe Space

Life Skills & Empowerment for ages 12 - 18

Meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday. Featured guest speakers provide relevant discussion topics and activities designed to prepare girls for a successful future, including: 

- Emotional health

- Healthy body image

- Being inclusive and making friends

- Bullying 

- How to deal with peer pressure

- Teen Health (menstrual cycle, acne, puberty, body changes, hygiene, healthy eating, etc)

- Critical Thinking and staying focused 

- Substance Use disorder 

- Financial Literacy (savings, smart money, employment)

- Entrepreneurship (identifying gifts/talents, business ideas/plans, marketing)

- Giving back / volunteering

Additional support is offered through weekly online Homework assistance and tutoring
